Gelli Printing with NIkki from Kettle and Palette (6+ years with adult)
Saturday 9th August 10.30am-12.30pm
Gelli Printing is a fun and exciting introduction to printmaking.
Join Nikki @kettleandpalette, an art teacher with over sixteen years’ experience, to learn and experiment with this fun and easy process. Learn how to apply acrylic paint on the Gelli surface, spreading it out with a roller, and then using plants, flowers, and other textured objects (collected from the flower field) to transfer creative patterns onto your paper. Nikki will share her knowledge and there will be plenty of opportunity for you to experiment with the materials and produce prints to take home at the end of the workshop.
Children attending this workshop will need to be accompanied by an adult. This will be a fun experience where both adults and children will be encouraged to create their own Gelli prints so an inclusive workshop for everyone attending.
The price for the workshop will include, the opportunity to collect materials from the flower field to print with, instruction in Gelli Printing and refreshments to be enjoyed during the workshop plus finished prints to take home at the end.
