This exciting floristry course comprising of six sessions, is held in the evening and takes place once a month. This class will immerse you in the abundance and beauty of seasonal locally grown flowers.

From flowers and seed heads to walnuts and foliage, all carefully collected, harvested and dried throughout the year at LNFF.
Our Flower Barn is a sight to behold at Christmas time, adorned with twinkling lights and filled with the delightful aroma of the season. Indulge in a warm cup of mulled wine and enjoy homemade cakes as you immerse yourself in this truly magical atmosphere.

Festive Nature Journalling For Joy - Lower Norton Flower Farm
Carve out some time for yourself amongst the busyness of the festive season, to be meditative and creative in the beautiful and peaceful setting of our flower barn
The barn will be decorated for Christmas and full of festive cheer and we’ll be celebrating festive favourites holly, ivy, mistletoe, fir, red berries and fir cones, alongside the sparkle of Yule.
Nicola will show you simple journalling techniques for capturing the joy of the festive period, working with nature finds rather than tinsel!.
You will be shown how to capture what you see with words, photos, doodles, print, paint and collaging techniques.

Cosy Wintering Workshop with Nicola Baldwin Her Outdoorz and Helen Mercercox Camomile Lawn
Embrace the pleasure of being relaxed, warm and cosy at this nature inspired ‘Wintering Workshop’.
This wonderfully restorative workshop is being run by garden designer and nature lover Nicola Baldwin and yoga teacher Helen Mercercox.
Together they will guide you through a nature inspired wintering experience that will help you connect to the time of year and the nature around you, leaving you ready to embrace the new year.
The workshop will combine a winter nature stroll, nature inspired seasonal journalling, a winter tea ceremony, seasonal plants and aromatherapy oils, folklore and stories, and finish with a deeply relaxing EcoNidra (yogic sleep).
The workshop is perfect for all abilities. You don’t need to be an artist, a yoga expert or a plant expert to enjoy it.
Tickets are £75 per person to include a small seasonal Doterra essential oil, tea ceremony, cake and all materials.
Bring your own yoga mat, pillows, cushions and blankets to create a rest nest.

Pick Your Own Flowers

Come and enjoy our beautiful flower field set in the Hampshire countryside and pick your own flowers to arrange at home.
How often are you given the chance to walk amongst row upon row of beautiful flowers having been given a bucket (one bucket per person only) and snips and allowed to cut your own flowers to take home? Well, that is what we are offering you here.

Looking for a venue for your ‘Hen Do’? We can help you out there too. We can arrange a flowery workshop for you and your friends in the beautiful setting of our flower field.
If you are intending to create your own bouquets and button holes for your wedding, this would be the ideal opportunity to practise with our experienced florist on hand to give you plenty of tips and tricks to ensure that the preparations for your wedding flowers on the day is as stress free as possible.
Equally, if you are just wanting to celebrate your up and coming wedding with a group of friends, in beautiful surroundings, with plenty of time for chatter and laughter whilst being shown how to create a stunning hand tied bouquet or flower crown, we can organise that for you too.
High Summer Nature Journaling For Joy with Nicola Baldwin, HerOutdoorz
Discover the joy of mixing nature and journaling, as you immerse yourself in glorious High Summer flowers and creativity at this fun workshop, held in the stunning setting of Lower Norton Flower Farm, near Winchester. We’ll be celebrating enchanting High Summer, when summer is running out but it’s not yet autumn.
Think dahlias, chrysanthemums, asters, grasses, cosmos, sedums, zinnias, jewel colours, apples, blackberries, elderberries, crab apples, heather, harvest and golden sunshine (can’t guarantee that!) You’ll have the opportunity to pick high summer flowers from the flower field, be inspired by the September colours and of course eat cake!
We’ll begin with a gentle stroll around the inspiring cutting field at Lower Norton Farm to gather your own posy of gorgeous seasonal flowers to take home with you. Alison, founder of Lower Norton Flower Farm will explain what she grows and how to choose the best cut flowers to extend vase life. While you wander amongst the beautiful high summer flowers we’ll chat about their uses in the garden and the plant lore associated with them.

Back in the lovely flower workshop at Lower Norton Flower Farm I’ll show you simple journaling techniques for capturing the colourful floral joy of late summer. We will be looking at colours, shapes and patterns, capturing what we see with words, photos, doodles, print, paint and collaging techniques. You can use your posy of flowers to inspire your work. While we’re creating, I’ll share nature and gardening tips, seasonal folklore and examples of wild nature to help you to connect with the time of year.
This workshop is perfect for all abilities, whether you want to get started in nature journaling or continue your practice. You don’t need to be an artist or a plant expert to enjoy it.

Pottery flower vase workshop
This workshop is designed to give you a morning of creativity in a idyllic setting. Sarah from 2Spots ceramics will show you how to roll out slabs of clay and then add pattern and texture using a selection of handpicked flowers and foliage from the flower fields. You will then be guided to create the slabs into a lovely flower brick.
Summer Beauty Art Retreat Day
This art retreat day will be filled with painting techniques, guidance on using watercolour and flowers, what more could you want!
The day will run as two sessions.

Louise trained at the Covent Garden Academy of Flowers in London. Adding some creative flair to her craft at the Jay Archer Floral Design School. Louise's floral installations have been displayed at prestigious venues such as St James' Palace and Winchester Cathedral Close. Her style is to use seasonal blooms in natural,unstructured arrangements, with attention to the little details that reflect the personality of the client in subtle ways.
