Friday 4th April, 10.00am to 1pm
We are delighted to be welcoming back Sarah of 2Spots Ceramics to run this fun and creative workshop which is perfect for teenagers and adults.
The setting will be our beautiful Flower Barn which makes a wonderful venue for creative workshops. Sarah will begin by showing you how to roll out slabs of clay and then add pattern and texture using a selection of dried flowers and seed-heads that we have grown, harvested and dried at LNFF, alongside her collection of vintage lace, buttons and glass. You will then be guided to create the slabs into lovely bowls. You should be able to create one cereal/dessert size bowl as well as a small dish and/or a few decorations.
Sarah will take your finished items away to be glazed and fired in her kiln and will either return them to the Flower Farm within 4 weeks for collection or you may opt to have them posted out to you. (There will be an additional postage charge for this option).
During the making process, we will pause for tea/coffee and homemade cake.
At the end of the workshop you will be presented with a simply wrapped bunch of seasonal flowers handpicked by the LNFF team from the flower field for you to enjoy at home.
All of our workshops are designed to be inclusive, informative and fun.
The cost of the workshop is £75 per person.
All details for the workshop will be sent out a week before the event
