Sustainable Floristry Course with Louise Bradshaw

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we will be collaborating once again with professional florist, Louise Bradshaw. This exciting floristry course comprising of six sessions, is held in the evening and takes place once a month. This class will immerse you in the abundance and beauty of seasonal locally grown flowers. Over these six sessions Louise will guide you through the floristry skills which will enable you to explore and understand how to use sustainable floristry techniques to create stunning designs using seasonal flowers.

The course is ideal if you are wanting to learn more about floristry or indeed would like to attend this course to start your own floristry business.

A little bit about Louise,

Louise trained at the Covent Garden Academy of Flowers in London. Adding some creative flair to her craft at the Jay Archer Floral Design School. Louise's floral installations have been displayed at prestigious venues such as St James' Palace and Winchester Cathedral Close. Louise’s style is to use seasonal blooms in natural, unstructured arrangements, with attention to the little details that reflect the personality of the client in subtle ways.

Louise has extensive industry knowledge and experience gained through working in the wedding and events industry, film industry for a major production, Flower farms and retail industry.

She has a background in education and now is floristry tutor at Peter Symonds College Winchester. The floristry workshops and courses are relaxed, informative, practical and fun with the emphasis on sustainable techniques, each arrangement/installation reflecting the season and the beauty found in nature.

The boring but necessary bit;

  • Workshops must be paid for at the time of booking.

  • Places will not be held until payment is made in full.

  • A full refund (minus booking fee) will be made for cancellations received in writing up to a month prior to the start date of the course.

  • Refunds will not be available for cancellations received less than a month before the course start date, unless the space can be filled and at the discretion of Lower Norton Flower Farm.

  • Please note that the food provided for our workshops is prepared in a kitchen where allergens might be present. If you are attending a workshop at Lower Norton Flower Farm, it is essential that if have any kind of food allergy or intolerance that you inform us before the day of the workshop, preferably at the time of booking.

  • Workshops have a minimum attendance level and we may regretfully have to cancel if too few bookings are received. If we have to cancel we shall endeavour to give at least one week’s notice. You will have the option of transferring to another workshop or receiving a full refund of fees paid.

  • Full payment is seen as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
